We offer driver training courses!
Do you need to learn to drive a bus or get the ‘S’ Endorsement done? Do you have employees who require training? As an Alberta Transportation Licensed Training School, we have the resources you need to achieve this.
Sparksman’s Training School boasts an incredibly skilled staff of trainers who specialize in exceptional customer service and support. We offer comprehensive Class 2 MELT or S-Endorsement training programs.
We deliver training in a comfortable environment, with small groups learning hands-on in-yard training, and one-on-one driving lessons. Rest assured that you will leave our Driving School with superb on-road driving confidence.

We provide training for:
Class 2 MELT (Non-‘S’ Endorsement)
Total Course Time is approximately 50 hours, which includes, at a minimum:
- 18.01 hours Classroom;
- 10.59 hours in-yard; and
- 21.25 hours in-vehicle
- Use of a bus for the purpose of completing the Alberta Transportation Class 2 MELT Road Test
Class 2-S MELT (Include ‘S’ Endorsement)
Total Course Time is approximately 50 hours, which includes, at a minimum:
- 18.5 hours Classroom;
- 11 hours in-yard; and
- 24 hours in-vehicle
- Use of a school bus for the purpose of completing the Alberta Transportation Class 2-S MELT Road Test
School Bus Driver Improvement Program (‘S’ Endorsement)
Total Course Time is approximately 15.25 hours, which includes, at a minimum:
- 14 hours Classroom;
- 1-hour in-vehicle assessment
